A diversified, almost completely instrumental album that features time, tempo, and stylistic changes. Some of the tracks have a guitar tone that is reminiscent of Presence-era Led Zeppelin ("On the Corner," "Pushy Girl"). Others show a spacey group emerged in ominous guitar embellishments and strange percussion ("Married to the Scene," "Ollie Oxen Free"). Dolan keeps the instrumental songs interesting through the structures and atmospheres that he and the rest of the band create. The only weak spot is the hip-hop flavored "Is She Queer," which is also the only track featuring vocals. Otherwise, the album is a very strong effort.
