Since the themes of budget-line collections are often impossible to discern, it has to be said that Sony Special Products' Here's Johnny is welcome indeed. No, it's not a collection of hits and highlights from The Tonight Show -- it's a compilation of country songs sung by men named Johnny. Specifically, it contains four songs apiece from Johnny Paycheck, Johnny Cash and Johnny Horton. All three singers are represented by excellent songs -- "Take This Job and Shove It," "I'm the Only Hell (Mama Ever Raised)," "She's All I Got," "Slide Off Your Satin Sheets," "Man in Black," "Ring of Fire," "Folsom Prison Blues," "Orange Blossom Special," "Honky Tonk Man," "North to Alaska," "The Battle of New Orleans," "I'm a One Woman Man" -- which is the reason why this disc is among the best budget-line discs available. Of course, the title helps, too...
