AllMusic Review by

...[With] dueling DJs or dub mixing to the death, the records were either loaded with inane braggadocio and death defying toasting, or complex tapestries of throbbing sound and riddim. It's a shame there isn't more of either on this disc, which suffers from a general apathy. There are a couple of tuff-enuff skanks ("Jamaican Collie" and "Country Man"), but a lot of the stuff falls into the predictable category ("Hard Me Hard," "333"), or is simply worthless ("Live Together"). Since neither I-Roy nor Jazzbo are particularly thrilling, there's no clear-cut winner; it's more like a draw, or a couple of fighters who don't really dislike each other dancing around the ring in an exhibition bout for charity...
