AllMusic Review by

Style's Hawaiian Wedding Music has a split program (if not a split personality) that alternates between easy listening instrumental arrangements of popular island songs and classical pieces that have been associated with wedding ceremonies. How this double-disc package is used depends on the preferences of the bride and groom and the degree of formality in their plans. If the emphasis is on tradition, then one can go down the aisle with the Air on the G string by Bach, the Ave Maria by Schubert, or the Wedding March by Mendelssohn. Of the classical numbers, these pieces are played more often at church weddings than any of the others. However, if the music is to be used for an informal reception, then there's no real problem with playing the remaining light classics by Tárrega, Tchaikovsky, Handel, Haydn, and others. Hang-loose couples may actually enjoy mixing the popular and classical selections, especially as background music for a casual party, but be advised that the combination of "Blue Hawaii," "Tiny Bubbles," and "My Little Grass Shack" with Grieg's "Morning" from Peer Gynt, Brahms' Waltz in A flat major, and the Andante from Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik may make your guests feel a little disoriented. The sound of these tracks is decent, if a bit over-boosted, and the music is pleasant enough for background listening, though the added sounds of the ocean, rain, and wildlife are unnecessary features.
