Weed's debut album Hard to Kill marries dance and funk rhythms to dreamy electronic arrangements and Cristina Handrabur's distinctive vocals. Filmic, evocative songs like "Hit and Miss" and "Hard to Kill" make up most of the album, but the group's more experimental side also makes its presence known with the sonic collage "Extra-Planetary." Weed's dark spin on dance music makes Hard to Kill an intriguing debut.
