Happy Days Review

by Steve Leggett

This three-disc set plays like a jukebox from the late '50s and early '60s, featuring obvious classics like the Coasters’ “Charlie Brown,” the Champs’ “Tequila,” Carl Perkins’ “Blue Suede Shoes,” Duane Eddy’s great version of “Peter Gunn,” and Fats Domino’s “Blueberry Hill,” among others. It’s not an expensive package, but at 30 tracks, it could have easily fit onto two CDs, if not actually on one.
