It only took mainstream British pop punkers McFly a mere three and a half years to "earn" themselves a Greatest Hits collection. There's no denying the group's skill when it comes to infectious hook-driven rockers and power ballads, but to call this collection premature is generous. Greatest Hits is essentially a vehicle for three new tunes, "Heart Never Lies," "The Way You Make Me Feel," and "Don't Wake Me Up," and by placing these new cuts in the context of their impressive seven number one singles, it's easy to see why. That said, there's not a dud on here, so disingenuous as it may be, it's hard not to recommend the collection over the band's spotty studio albums.
