This collection offers late-'50s/early-'60s love songs by some of the eras' heavyweights. Those over the age of 50 will have fond memories of Pat Boone's "Love Letters in the Sand," the Platters' "Only You (and You Alone)," and the Everly Brothers' "All I Have to Do Is Dream." Rock standards like the Marcels' "Blue Moon," the Fleetwoods' mellow "Come Softly to Me," and the Drifters' "There Goes My Baby" might not be recognized by younger rock fans, but they'll still earn their appreciation as vibe-worthy. Equally as golden classics by the Teddy Bears, Patti Page, the Shirelles, Frankie Avalon, Dale & Grace, and Nino Tempo & April Stevens complete a sweet trip down memory lane.
