AllMusic Review by

Gogi Grant's most memorable RCA session pairs her with arranger Johnny Mandel, whose cool jazz-inspired charts push the singer in directions her previous albums sidestepped. While the signature beauty of Grant's vocals remain intact, Granted It's Gogi eschews theatrics in favor of more subtle and soulful moments that spotlight a newfound sophistication; her shifts in mood and style appear effortless, bolstered by Mandel's thoughtful orchestrations, and the songs cover an impressive stretch of emotional territory ranging from the torch song intensity of "I Wished on the Moon" to the delightful nonsense of "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo."
