AllMusic Review by

Ben Liebrand's Grand 12-Inches isn't the most attractive compilation series, but he and a Netherlands-based division of Sony continue to provide a great service to lovers of late '70s and early- to mid-'80s dance music by releasing these extensive sets of unmixed tracks. The fourth volume of Grand 12-Inches features World Premiere's "Share the Night," the eight-minute version of War's "Galaxy," Roy Ayers Ubiquity's "Running Away," Laid Back's "White Horse," and Change's "You Are My Melody. There's also the original 1984 version of Pet Shop Boys' "West End Girls," produced by Bobby Orlando (whose handiwork is also heard on another inclusion, the Flirts' "Passion").
