AllMusic Review by

This budget-priced, ten-track collection of Motown-infused gospel greats from the 1960s may be a tad on the skimpy side, but it makes up for its short playlist with sheer quality, offering a handful of spruced-up spirituals from the likes of Smokey Robinson & the Miracles ("Rock of Ages"), Stevie Wonder ("Swing Low Sweet Chariot"), Gladys Knight & the Pips ("How Great Thou Art"), and the Five Blind Boys of Mississippi ("Old Ship of Zion") that move the feet as effortlessly as they do the soul.
