Good Morning England is the official soundtrack to the French-titled release of The Boat The Rocked, Richard Curtis' 2009 ensemble comedy about a North Sea pirate radio station's attempt to avoid being shut down by the British government in the 1960s. Its 32 tracks (all of which appeared on the English soundtrack), feature several of the decade's most iconic hits (Martha & the Vandellas' "Dancing in the Street," Procol Harum's "A Whiter Shade of Pale"), alongside two songs apiece from the Who, the Turtles, and the Kinks, the end credits theme (David Bowie's "Let's Dance"), and both the original of Lorraine Ellison's "Stay with Me" and a cover version specially recorded for the film by Welsh songstress Duffy.
