General Elektriks' second album is built on sturdier grooves that are more keyboard-driven than those of their debut. The vocals, meanwhile, are more upfront and amiable, though “Raid the Radio” launches a pointed -- if seemingly easygoing -- protest at commercial programming. A deluxe edition with five bonus cuts was issued the same day as the original 13-track version.
