For years Kris Kross amused the world with their miggidy-mack antics and their smashing of fashion paradigms by wearing their clothes totally backwards. This fashion trend alone sent little boys in the suburban hood flocking to malls and feverishly purchasing Starter outfits and Merry Go Round-sanctioned clothing to emulate the two Krises. Fast forward to 2004 and someone at Collectables thought it would be a good idea to issue a compilation featuring Kris Kross' finest moments. Unfortunately, there were maybe two of those at best, and one is glaringly absent (no Kris Kross anthology would be complete without the inclusion of "Warm It Up"). On the upside, it does have "Jump." There's also "It's a Group Thang," which should go down as one of the worst skit/interludes ever, an attempt to show how gangsta funk they became by the end of their career that not only fails miserably but is just straight-up awful. There are other hits here, but they're as equally forgettable as the first time around. Get it if you don't have "Jump" and can't find a '90s compilation that satisfies your needs.
