AllMusic Review by

Godskitchen takes their compilations seriously, usually bringing in a name DJ and splitting the mix into three separate sets in hopes of accurately capturing the changing mood of the club at different times of the night. For the second volume, John "00" Fleming stuck close to adequate prog of the Paul Oakenfold variety for the first "11 pm" disc (W.O.S.P.'s "Getting' in 2 U," Miss Shiva's "Dreams," James Holden's "Solstice"), turned on the floods for the "1 am" disc (Paul Van Dyk, 4 Strings, Plastic Angel, System F), and attempted to make the place go mad by "3 am" (Mauro Picotto, Praga Khan). The effect was a well-paced club mix but an exhausting one for the bedroom, a common problem with over-enthusiastic dance compilations like this. An hour-long reduction would've driven the point home just fine.
