AllMusic Review by

A glaringly unexciting installment in the Gatecrasher line was never going to let anybody forget the problems of post-System F trance. As such, Gatecrasher Digital Trance's ultimate appeal was only in its blandness, its overwhelming inconspicuousness, and the way it quietly confirmed many of the negative assumptions of the scene. With Yves Deruyter's "Music Non Stop" and Mauro Picotto's "Pulsar," it looked like Gatecrasher was joining the ranks of those edging away from the progressive formula, but it did so with an avalanche of half-cooked climaxes and synth clichés. The inclusion of Push's new remix of Art of Trance's fabulous 1999 single "Madagasca" only underscored the scene's unfortunately growing lack of purpose.
