E-Dub's Gangsta, Gangsta single features two of the best songs from his debut album for MCA, The Prezident: the Frankie B. Nice-produced "Gangsta, Gangsta," the Scott Storch-produced "Who Dat Iz," and the Swizz Beatz-produced "Get Down." Though "Gangsta, Gangsta" -- a subtle mockery of the "gangsta" ideology associated with hardcore rap -- is the album's lead single and video, "Who Dat Iz" is actually the slightly better song and deserves as much if not more airplay from radio. "Get Down" is a fairly typical Swizz Beatz production circa 2001/2002, sounding quite similar to DMX's "You Could Be Blind," which also featured female vocalist Mashonda on the hook; unfortunately, this single only features a snippet of the song.
