More of a DJ set than a proper compilation of the label's artists, the first release on Future Groove (an imprint of Mute) showcases a swirling collection of trance singles previously released in England. This mix by Force Mass Motion (aka Mike Wells) has little trouble aligning cuts that soar with magical synths (Aircom) and airy percussion and voices (Tungsten). Wells slides in his own work with the spiritual "Supercell," an epic that resembles a missing piece from Underworld's Beaucoup Fish. This collection has definitely got its groove on, while providing a good taste of the label's future.
