Stretch Princess' sophomore effort finds the band offering much of the same, coercing the listener to sift through 11 disposable pop/rock tracks that never distinguish themselves from the rest of the pack. Fun With Humans should have been a great pop album, as Jo Lloyd's beautiful voice is powerful enough to allow this trio to rise above the inconsistencies of their peers. Unfortunately, Stretch Princess still seems unsure of exactly what they wish to accomplish musically, and instead falls back on redundant rock clichés and lyrics that border on outright silliness. The group never quite endears themselves to the listener and opts to play it safe with average pop/rock filler. Fun With Humans feels patched together like a pair of faded old jeans, and if Stretch Princess doesn't find an avenue they are relaxed in and dare to break new ground, this pair of jeans should be thrown out.
