Of the Action Suits' four 1996 singles, the song that stands out the most from these sessions is "Fun Flies." Released twice as a single, the song is a swaying, beautiful combination of strummed chords and delicate singing, held together by the coy voice of singer Eric Reynolds. This song is instantly memorable and works well as a power pop anthem for the slacker generation, something it may never achieve because of its minor release. The B-side, "Before," is a shimmering ballad that might not have the hook of the A-side, but still has a respectable drive and good lyrics. The Action Suits' singles are all good, but this is undoubtedly one of the best in their short career.
