The tenth volume of Free to Be, the Right Stuff's series that chronicles various and random disco and dance songs (usually with a slight gay bent) from the '70s through the '90s, is unique because it concentrates on holiday and Christmas songs. Since holiday disco songs don't sound all that different from regular disco songs, casual listeners will be forgiven if they don't realize almost all of the songs have a holiday theme (a few don't, to be perfectly honest). No matter whether you view the record as a disco collection or a holiday compilation, it makes for a good, danceable party album that just happens to work well for Christmas parties.
