The guys in Jive at Five often tell the audience to "speak up if the band starts to have more fun than you're having" at their shows. That kind of good-natured exuberance is obvious on this album, which continues along the same lines of their previous release, Swingin' Standard Time, to present a collection of classic songs from a variety of styles with a sweet, laid-back groove. Not nearly as aggressive or infused with irony as the rest of the swing revival bands that burst upon the scene, the band still manages not to sound stale. Highlights on the album include "Rosetta" and "I've Got a Longing in My Heart."
