Another volume in Decca's lifestyle classical series, For After Hours presents peaceful music for winding down the day and beginning the evening, including Debussy's Clair de Lune (from Suite Bergamasque); Handel's Water Music Suite No. 1 in F major, NWV 348, Air; and Mozart's Symphony No. 29 in A major, K. 201, Andante. Mozarts appears twice more on the album, with Serenade in G major, K. 525 "Eine Kline Nachtmusick," Romance and Piano Concerto No. 21 in C major, K. 467, Andante. Pieces by Rossini, Mendelssohn, Bach, and Beethoven round out this soothing, elegant collection, which is appropriate for any occasion requiring quietly refined music, not just For After Hours.
