AllMusic Review by

Not for the neophytes, this is a spectacular collection of unreleased oddities that span the years 1968-1990. Included are Wyatt's work with Jimi Hendrix (Soft Machine toured America as Hendrix's opening act in 1968) and his work with veteran avant-gardists Lol Coxhill and Dagmar Krause. Nothing here matches Wyatt's most important work, but for those so inclined, this is a unique opportunity to explore some of the hidden nooks and crannies of an always-interesting artist's career. Caveat emptor: as with Going Back a Bit, this is an expensive English import.
