A great new album for fans of the '60s sound. Devine has absorbed British Invasion sound and applied it to the contemporary singer/songwriter sensibility. The hi-beams can be described as a cross between The Byrds, the Raspberries and the Hollies. The songs are hook-driven and catchy, as Marshall Crenshaws songs are, with quirky twists in tempo and structure. Refreshing.
