This Lp features the 1941 Will Bradley Orchestra on noncommercial performances made as radio transcriptions. Although famous for its big band boogie-woogie hits, there is less boogie on these dozen numbers (other than "The Booglie Wooglie Piggy") than one would expect. Bradley's orchestra (which he co-led with drummer Ray McKinley) was also an excellent swing band. The obscure performances are quite brief (only one exceeds three minutes) but have their moments of interest (particularly the solos of pianist Freddie Slack) and are easily recommended to swing collectors.
