AllMusic Review by

This set presents two DJ mixes -- each a disc in length -- by Ramin and Marc Green. Don't be put off by the impossibly bad cover art. While this collection offers few surprises, it's a solid collection of four-on-the-floor techno with house and Hi-NRG flourishes. The first half of Ramin's set dwells in ethereal, trancey numbers like the U.K. mix of Nick Cooper's "Last Dimension" and Angel of Death's "Angels Return." Midway through the set, he drops an old-school mix of Kai Tracid's "Trance & Acid," which leads into a second half that is a bit grittier, while still featuring splashes of melody. Ferry Corsten's "Punk (Cosmic Gate Remix)" and an appearance by Romanthony are percussive standouts that suggest the harsh strobes of a typical late-night out. Marc Green's set is based similarly in hard techno, opting for the occasional foray into lighter fare (usually from Green himself, like on his own "White Noise") or tech-house dynamics. Ironbase's industrial percussion is a standout, as is Drax's "Amphetamine 2002" and Tom Wax's paranoid DJ nightmare "...And Then It Hit Me!"
