One of the heaviest records to come out in 1997, maybe even the heaviest of the 1990s. Logical Nonsense's Expand the Hive re-established the faith in all those who have given up on hardcore. The music is fueled with apocalyptic, anti-establishment anthems going with samples that are layered with our eventual doomsday. Not the most optimistic bunch, but their bleakness helps capture listeners' attention and warn them that something has to be done with everything wrong in the world. If these guys weren't in a band they would probably be inflicting some serious property damage.
