The nine performances on this CD are freely improvised sound explorations. Joëlle Léandre often plays her bass like a drone while percussionist Mark Nauseef creates a variety of sounds, some of which are a bit annoying. Not much development takes place, the music starts and ends randomly, and the overall results are quite dull. While somewhat intriguing the first time around, this CD does not wear that well and never rises above the level of slightly menacing background music.
