AllMusic Review by

At its best, Rose Blossom Punch's debut album, Ephemere, is a tight collection of powerful post-grunge, highlighted by the group's edgy, hard-driving sound. The band has trouble writing catchy hooks, but they are more about sound than content, and on that level, Ephemere succeeds reasonably well. If the group develops its songwriting skills, they would be more memorable, but as it stands, Ephemere is a good, workmanlike collection of post-grunge.
