This two-disc set from Ember Records features Ella Fitzgerald's LP Ella Sings, Chick Swings and Sarah Vaughan and Billie Holiday on the appropriately titled Back to Back. Both sessions feature an amazing array of musicians, including Chick Webb, Dizzy Gillespie, Louis Jordan, Max Roach, Charlie Parker, and the famed jazz critic Leonard Feather on piano. Highlights among the 20 tracks include "Mean To Me," "Lover Man," and "I'm Confessin' (That I Love You)."
