Ismael Miranda continued in the 1990s to produce commendable efforts with the aid of top-flight arrangers (Bobby Valentín, Lenny Prieto, Ernesto Sánchez, prolific Ramón Sánchez, Julio Alvarado, and longtime musical director Louis García) and Puerto Rico's elite sidemen. The ever-versatile Miranda can oscillate from romantic material to swinging salsa with great commmand; among the guilty pleasures are the self-penned "De Rumba Pa' Bolero," "Como Locos," "Por Ti Yo Voy," "Es Mas," and "Para Que Nadie Se Entere." The solid background vocals are contributed by Aldo Matta, top salsa star Domingo Quiñones, Tito Allen, and ex-Batacumbele vocalist Jose Luis "Chegui" Ramos. A great team of professionals to service one of salsa's all-time legends.
