AllMusic Review by

Platero's third album sees a return to the simpler arrangements of their first and most popular album Arpas de las Americas. Aside from one original composition, the pieces are interpretations of folk tunes, mainly from Argentina and Paraguay. Sandy Smith's Paraguayan harp is both lively and soulful, ably supported by Jack Montgomery's guitar, with additional flute on their version of "El Condor Pasa." Occasional bass and percussion are added, but mainly it is just this fine duo playing their lyrical and bright versions of this uplifting and romantic music.
