Easy Rockin' 70's is a ten-track collection of soft rock tracks both classic and semi-obscure. The classics are true works of soft rock genius, like Todd Rundgren's "Hello It's Me," America's "Ventura Highway," and Maria Muldaur's "Midnight at the Oasis." The rest of the disc includes some big hits, like Harry Chapin's "Cat's in the Cradle" and Stephen Still's "Love the One You're With," as well as some lesser hits by big-name soft rock practitioners like Carly Simon ("Attitude Dancing"), Seals & Crofts ("Get Closer"), and the Doobie Brothers ("Take Me in Your Arms [Rock Me]"). All in all, it is a decent low-priced intro type of collection; the only thing that holds it back is the brevity and the cheesy packaging.
