This series is a way to put music for a particular age (birth to six) in the hands of children of that age. The titles are self-explanatory. Zero is for pregnant moms and dads and for infants under 12 months. One is still somewhat for parents and for infants 12-23 months and so on, up to Six for first-graders. The series is based loosely on the milestones in child development occurring during each year of childhood up to six. Zero is very soft and a bit ethereal; beautiful music and sentiments. It contains one of the most beautiful pieces ever written for kids: "Mother and Child Suite for Horn and Harp," by composer Paul Riggio. There's also toe-counting, first steps, and loving.
