Manasseh creates a fusion of reggae, dub, ambient, rock, hip-hop and acid house with his full-fledged debut Dub the Millennium. Led by Nick Raphael, the group sounds like no other -- others may try to tap into this gurgling, psychedelic fusion of styles, but few can pull it off as effortlessly. Imagine the Mad Professor as a acid-addled young Londoner entranced by East-Coast hip-hop, British indie rock, jungle and Jamaican dub, and you're getting close, but you're still not quite there. It's a head-spinning experience.
