Ladies and gentlemen, the King Diamond of hardcore! They dress in all black, sport Kiss-like make up, have a vampire act going on whenever they play out live and they write songs about evil things; like freeing demons from the realms of hell so they can attack civilization-or something like that. Are these guys for real? Is any of this meant to be taken seriously? If anything, Ink and Dagger's gothic hardcore persona provides a good but unintentional laugh.
But if you can get past that, Drive This Seven Inch... is something that you want to dislike but just can't. The chaotic guitar leads, screamy vocals and their timing of jumping in at the right moment is sure enough to get them the attention so much so that they don't have to play dress up.
