Veteran Australian pianist Graeme Bell is heard on a variety of selections from 1962-1965 on this enjoyable LP. In addition to such Dixieland warhorses as "Tin Roof Blues," "That's a Plenty," and "Down By the Riverside," Bell also does his best with a couple pop tunes ("African Waltz" and "Downtown"), along with a couple originals. Best among the soloists is the always-reliable trumpeter Bob Barnard. The results are not essential but generally enjoyable for trad jazz listeners.
