DJ Mixmaster Series: House Music, a three-disc set from Thump, is broken down into old-school house, "house attack," and underground house. The first mix includes "Groove Is in the Heart," "Dangerous on the Dancefloor," and tracks from N-Joi and Masters at Work. The second disc has the classics. "Rhythm Is a Dancer," "Da Da Da," "Everybody Everybody," and "Get Busy" -- they're hopelessly played-out, but still have some verve. DJ Mixmaster Series: House concludes with an underground disc featuring tracks from DJs like Dave Armstrong and Amsterdam-based Olav Basoski.
