AllMusic Review by

Tidy Trax, one of the few labels keeping high-energy dance music consistently cheese-free, released this fine double-disc set, including one mixed by Eddie Halliwell, the other by Paul Janes. Halliwell's set is simply excellent, packed with good-time house music that occasionally reverts to the disco glory days, but never overstays its welcome. Great breaks and a get-involved vocal push the Goodfellas' "Soul Heaven" into anthem territory, though every one of the 15 selections are so solid that highlights are tough to call (if pressed, Topazz and a pair of Junior Sanchez red-liners take the cake). It's a tough mix to top, so Paul Janes takes the second disc into slightly more minimal territory, though track heads like Mac Zimms and Olav Basoski keep the energy level high. Another bonus: Dave Clarke's tough remix of "Soul Heaven" tacked onto the end.
