AllMusic Review by

After the fall of Force Tracks at the turn of the millennium, the hole left by its implosion was filled by hundreds of labels aspiring to be the next King Bee of the microhouse/glitch community. Many came close, but never quite measured up to the quality and quantity of Force Tracks releases. With the label's return in 2006, many of the names that built that empire have left for other labels and some have quit producing altogether. But the class that label owner Achim Szepanski is currently building has potential to be just as good. Led by longtime Force Tracks producer Unai, this edition of the Digital Disco series strays from the more cerebral elements of house music and focuses strictly on the dancefloor. Unai's mix is evenhanded and steady, and features a generous helping of filtered disco samples, peaks and breakdowns, and everything else you'd come to expect from a DJ mix. The label is back in fine form, but how long this wave of momentum will last is a mystery yet to be resolved.
