Didgeridoo Concerto is, quite literally, a symphony of nature and her sounds. Mark Atkins accompanied her for over 51 minutes on the didgeridoo -- most likely a circular breathing record of sorts. The accompanying orchestra is a thunderstorm and other natural sounds. They are neither samples nor field recordings. Atkins and his engineers simply left the doors and windows of the studio open and allowed nature to create the sound design. The result is a glorious triumph of man and nature. The harmony of Atkins' didg and the rainfall is too smooth to be an accident. A coincidence is God's way of protecting His anonymity. In the world of didgeridoo recordings, this disc stands alone at the top.
