AllMusic Review by

Released in association with the channel that broadcasts reruns of The Dick Van Dyke Show, this has a dozen rock & roll dance hits from the early and mid-'60s (plus the Dick Van Dyke theme). Certainly the music is classic -- the Isley Brothers' "Twist & Shout," and Stevie Wonder's "Fingertips Part II," Little Eva's "The Loco-Motion," the Contours "Do You Love Me," the Capitols' "Cool Jerk," and more. It's not exactly the best archival context for this sort of thing if you have a deep appreciation for the music, with no liner notes and a skimpy running time. However, it's not targeted toward that audience, but at listeners who just want a few of these kinds of things around the house.
