Mulenze's first recording shows the band's highly distinctive style in its early stages, brimming with enthusiastic originality and a plethora of experimentation, eschewing links with the traditional '70s Puerto Rico-based salsa band. This is the starting point in the development of the group's stylish sound. This LP features some of the band's early, well-known hits such as "El Profeta," "Vuelve Junto a Mi," and the notorious "No Hay Manera, Filomena." This LP showcases talented bandleader/bass player Edwin Morales and superb Pedro Brull on vocals in their maiden recording efforts.
