The soundtrack to the 1983 film D.C. Cab starring Mr. T is a poor relic from the early Reagan era. The best part of the album is the cover photo of Mr. T holding a ripped-off taxi cab door and pointing a finger at the viewer. The original motion-picture soundtrack includes "The Dream" by Irene Cara and "Single Heart" by De Barge. Other tracks from Gary U.S. Bonds and the forgotten bands Shalamar (post Jody Watley) and Champaign are also included. Overall, this is not up to the quality of the soundtracks for Fame, Flashdance, or Footloose, but neither is the film.
