Dave Cloud Presents...Songs I Will Always Sing

With the ramblings of Wesley Willis, the intoxicated tone of Tom Waits, and the silliness of Beck, Dave Cloud and his barroom buddies slop along to 19 tracks of incoherent babble. Songs I Will Always Sing is intended as a joke; Cloud slurs his overbearing vocals through each song, and the nickel-budget production of muffed guitars and punched-out keyboards barely holds things together. Even his cover of Herman's Hermits' "I'm Into Something Good" fails to deliver a punch line. The little money that was used to record Songs I Will Always Sing would've been better spent paying off Cloud's bar tab.
