The cover of Helios Creed's Dark Matter, Vol. 2 is a good match for one of its song titles, "Visual Noise." It's visibly much less decipherable than some of his other cover graphics, though it's certainly dark enough. And there's a correspondingly darker tone on some of the songs, too; "The Center" has an almost goth-like feel in places. Alternatively, "Vastness (Flipside)" approaches an ambient style. This is quite different from his earlier grunge and industrial albums, and while that may disappoint fans of that style, it also opens up Creed's listenership to a more far reaching variety of audiences, many of whom will enjoy these newer tangents.
