AllMusic Review by

The enigmatic double disc Dance Now 2001, Vol. 2 strikes a pose for some of dance music's biggest club hits. It's not over the top, for it's more inviting and ambitious with eclectic mixes from Bomfunk MCs, Chocolate Puma, Norman Bass, and Airheadz. Some of electronica's more prominent artists are also included. Basement Jaxx's "Romeo" and Artful Dodger's "Please Don't Turn Me On" mix in fashionable trance loops, while O Fortuna's "The Omen" and Public Domain's "Operation Blade (Base in the Place)" descend into a techno bliss on disc one. Disc two boasts more of a rave atmosphere with cuts from Jakatta and the Warp Brothers; however, it's Bel Amour's self-titled track that's most appealing. Disco flair inside Hi-NRG highlights the bootylicious good time found on Dance Now 2001, Vol. 2. Club kids of the world unite!
