The 1950s are generally considered to be Pérez Prado's peak, but the 1964-68 tracks on this compilation sound just as lively. There are some faint modern touches (mambo covers of "The James Bond Theme" and "Goldfinger"), but basically this is Prado as he sounded during his prime. "Cayetano" has some wonderfully off-key blaring horns, and "Estoy Acabando" has a bubblegum organ reminiscent of ? & the Mysterians. A major drawback is the short running time (only eight songs are included).
