The fifth Stomp Off CD by the Grand Dominion Jazz Band (a trad group comprised of Brits living in Canada and Americans) is the equal of their four earlier sets. The front line (trumpeter Bob Jackson, Gerry Green on clarinet and alto, and trombonist Jim Armstrong, who has four vocals) works quite well together, which is not too surprising since at this point they had been playing in the group regularly for 15 years. Among the better selections (nearly all of which are obscurities) are "Daddy's Little Girl," "Tuck Me to Sleep in My Old 'Tucky Home," and "Shout 'Em Aunt Tillie." Easily recommended to trad fans.
